Jerry O'Leary Scholarship

The Jerome D. O’Leary/Local 25 Scholarship was created to help lessen the financial burden of students pursuing a higher education. Children, grandchildren, spouses and members in good standing with our local union are eligible to apply. Applications are due each year in June, with financial assistance awarded later in the summer. Pursuing a construction related degree is preferred, but not required.

 

In addition to completing the application, applicants must provide 2 sealed letters of recommendation, transcripts, letter of acceptance from the college/university they plan to attend and a personal statement of no more than 500 words on one of the provided topics.

Scholarships are available for dependents of United Association members to assist with paying for expenses related to education at an accredited college or university.
