About the Program
As an apprentice you will work for a contractor 40+ hours per week and attend day classes related to your trade six weeks per year with an occasional Saturday class.
Your five-year apprenticeship includes:
- 8,500 hours of on-the-job training
- 1,300 hours of classroom training
- Earning while you learn
Piping and Mechanical Trades
Plumbers
Plumbers assemble, install and repair pipes, fittings and fixtures for water, gas, sewage and drainage systems according to specifications and codes.
Pipefitting & Welding
Pipefitters assemble, install and maintain pipes to carry water, steam, compressed air, gases and fluids needed for processing, manufacturing, heating and cooling.
HVACR Technician
HVACR service techs install, maintain and repair, heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration in the residential, commercial and industrial markets.
