Application deadline is January 29, 2027

All applications and necessary documents must be turned in by January 29, 2027 deadline to be considered for the 2027 apprentice program. Applications will not be considered if necessary documents have not been received.

Applications received after January 29, 2027 deadline will be considered for the 2028 apprentice program and will receive notification of application status in February 2028.

The Plumbers and Pipefitters JATC of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois will not discriminate against apprenticeship applicants or apprentices based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), sexual orientation, genetic information, or because they are an individual with a disability or a person 40 years old or older. 3. Turn in your applications and necessary documents and signature, in person, to the Joint Apprenticeship Committee at the LU 25 Training Center. 

Applications must be delivered to the Rock Island, IL office in person. Applicants who do not arrive in person and have all their documents submitted prior to the 2026 deadline will not be considered for the program in 2026. It is important for applicants to have a clear understanding of the office and training location. Study guides will also be available for $20 at the training center. Study guides will not be mailed.

Your application will not be complete until you have provided a copy of the following requirements:

  • Driver’s license or photo ID
  • Birth certificate
  • High school diploma and transcripts or an approved high school equivalency GED certificate or scores
  • Military transfer or discharge forms DD-214 or equivalent (if applicable)
